16.332

基云：此攝益識者，此意俱受亦通喜樂捨三。然以喜相麁，所以偏說，或唯舉欲界多分語。然上界亦通有樂故，捨下雖有小而不論。

Ji says: as for this 'sustaining and benefiting consciousness', the feeling conjoined with this volition also applies to the three of joy, pleasure, and equanimity. However, because the characteristic of joy is coarse, it is spoken of singularly; or it is stated by mentioning only the predominant part of the desire realm. However, because the higher realms also generally possess pleasure, although equanimity is found below, it is minor and not discussed.
