第六明諸句中，文別有四：一、約依身境界分別色根。或有依身轉，而不依境界等者，謂有色彼同分根，雖依大種身轉，而無識來託，不能取境等故。

Under the sixth, explaining the various phrases, the text has four divisions: first, differentiating the material faculties in terms of their dependence on the body and sense-objects. Regarding 'there are those that operate dependent on the body, but do not depend on the sense-objects, and so forth': this means that the sabhāga material faculties, although operating dependent on the body composed of the great elements, lack consciousness attaching to them and cannot grasp sense-objects, and so forth.
