Regarding the individual explanations: The twenty views of self, since they arise from delusion regarding suffering, are abandoned only by seeing [the truths], and do not exist in the path of cultivation. As for the statement 'Furthermore, as for all wrong views, that is, [denying that] there is giving, etc.': Denying that there are flow-out fruits and maturation fruits of giving, etc., are both termed 'denial'. Denying that there are father, mother, etc., is partly delusion regarding suffering and partly delusion regarding the origin. Jing says: Father and mother are called suffering from the perspective of being born from causes—father and mother—and producing sons and daughters is the origin. Because denying the intermediate existence also denies the karma that induces intermediate existence, it is termed 'denial of suffering and origin.'
