Ji says: Within aversion, there are only words regarding taking views as object; thus one knows that at the time of the Mahāyāna path of seeing, it arises solely by taking views as object. That which takes sentient beings and concrete events as object occurs at the time of the path of cultivation. Moreover, this provisionally refers to arising by taking views as object and not that it is absent in concrete events. Giving rise to pride by relying on views is also delusion regarding suffering; it should be known that this is based on being deluded regarding the suffering of flow-out fruits. As for 'If there is lack of wisdom, etc.': lack of wisdom is ignorance, which is common to both associated and isolated [modes]; collectively, they are termed delusion, like non-delusion.
