16.503

謂欲瞋恚，三界三種名修道斷等者，此說三界合十，除身邊者此隨小乘故。又修道中，無別對治行，如見道有別行空無我故，據正道理身邊二見通俱生亦修所斷，如唯識說。

As for 'Namely, desire and aversion, the three kinds in the three realms are termed abandoned by the path of cultivation, etc.': This statement combines the three realms into ten; excluding the view of identity and extreme views follows the Hīnayāna. Furthermore, in the path of cultivation, there is no distinct antidotal practice, whereas the path of seeing has the distinct practice of emptiness and non-self. According to the correct principle, the two views of identity and extremes are also innate and abandoned by cultivation, as explained in the *Vijñaptimātratā* [treatises].
