基云：清淨色中煩惱心之相分相分差別難知，微細故云觀斷，心中種子即當心之見分，一類易知，故言止斷，其實二俱觀斷止俱隨斷。

Ji says: Within clear and pure matter, the objective aspect (nimittabhāga) of the afflicted mind has differences in its objective aspect that are difficult to know and subtle; hence it is said to be severed by discernment. The seeds within the mind directly correspond to the mind's subjective aspect (darśanabhāga), which are uniform and easy to know; hence it is said to be severed by calm. In reality, both are severed by discernment, and both are severed following calm.
