就初解欲中，初解經說煩惱之欲不說色等五塵事；次斷解八種分別能生欲貪，後解唯貪以為欲相。

Regarding the first explanation of desire: First, it explains that the desire of afflictions stated in the sūtras does not refer to the five sense objects such as matter; next, it fully explains that eight kinds of discrimination can generate desire and greed; finally, it explains that greed alone constitutes the characteristic of desire.
