17.115

測云：此文既若害生無間，彼便命終，即此方便等如無礙道，正現在時共至於滅相，雖非一時而斷用成，殺生亦爾，雖已命終業道得成，當於此時方相動震，故有根本表業成就。

Ce says: Since this text states, 'if immediately after the harming of life, he dies,' this preliminary effort and so forth is like the unobstructed path (ānantarya-mārga): when it is presently occurring, they reach the mark of cessation together; although not simultaneous, the function of termination is accomplished. Taking life is also like this: although life has ceased and the path of action is accomplished, precisely at this moment the physical expression moves and shakes, and therefore there is the accomplishment of fundamental manifest karma (vijñapti-karma).
