Second, clarifying the locus where they arise: Jing says that the arising of the six actions such as killing living beings in the locus of sentient beings is stated from the perspective of the prominent locus; in reality, harsh speech and malice extend to arising with respect to non-sentient loci. Regarding frivolous talk arising with respect to collections of names (*nāma-kāya*): it inclusively takes the names of sentient and non-sentient phenomena to emit frivolous talk; this standalone frivolous talk is emitted in reliance on collections of names. If one takes the frivolous talk associated with the preceding three kinds of speech, it also arises in reliance on sentient and non-sentient loci.
