17.20

前中，十八總為八對。一、自他境對；二、損不損對；三、增不增對；四、具不具對；五、害不害對；六、增等劣對；七、覺不覺對；八、生苦多少對。

In the former, the eighteen are grouped into eight pairs: 1. the pair of one's own and others' spheres; 2. the pair of impaired and unimpaired; 3. the pair of increasing and not increasing; 4. the pair of complete and incomplete; 5. the pair of damaging and not damaging; 6. the pair of superior, equal, and inferior; 7. the pair of conscious and unconscious; 8. the pair of producing much or little suffering.
