First, clarifying the appropriation of the origin of suffering: 'increasing kaṭasīs and constantly receiving drops of blood' corresponds to the *Mahāyānasaṃgraha*'s 'You have, throughout the long night, increased craving and constantly received drops of blood.' If so, why not simply say 'craving,' which would suffice on its own—why is it necessary to say 'kaṭasī'?
