解云：羯吒斯者，是梵語。此間無名可翻，故存梵本。貪愛者此間名，梵語自別。今言羯吒斯，謂貪愛者，據體同相即名異相，顯貪愛是此間名，梵語亦是羯吒斯。別有梵語，此言顯示攝受集諦者貪愛也。

The explanation says: 'Kaṭasī' is a Sanskrit word. In this land there is no term to translate it, so the Sanskrit original was preserved. 'Craving' is the name in this land; the Sanskrit word is naturally different. Now saying that 'kaṭasī' refers to craving is based on identity of substance while differing in terminology; it shows that craving is the name in this land, and in Sanskrit it is also kaṭasī. There is another Sanskrit word; these words show that what appropriates the truth of the origin is craving.
