十一、約修以辨，有四復次。初云唯得勵力運轉思惟等者，此約定方便以辨二種思惟，如作意中解。

Eleventh, distinguishing in terms of cultivation, there are four alternatives. The first says 'only attaining energetic mental engagement, etc.': this distinguishes the two kinds of mental engagement in terms of the preliminary means of concentration, as explained under mental engagement (manaskāra).
