第九明三種修定互相障礙。景師但云：有二種修靜慮者，得定相似同於一事變水火異，一心相續所作事成，一心異緣便有障礙。

Ninth, explaining the mutual obstruction of the three kinds of meditative cultivation. Master Jing merely says: If there are two cultivators of dhyāna who have attained similar concentrations, and regarding the same matter one transforms it into water and the other into fire, when one mind continues unbroken, the matter undertaken is accomplished; if one mind directs to a different object, obstruction immediately arises.
