17.36

景云：七慢中，除慢、卑慢，所餘五慢緣無事境，以不稱實故。所餘二慢，緣有事境。然從多分而說，慢是無事。

Jing says: Among the seven conceits, excluding conceit and inferiority conceit, the remaining five conceits have objects lacking an objective referent because they do not match reality. The other two conceits have objects possessing an objective referent. However, stating in terms of the majority, conceit lacks an objective referent.
