三、明大性及遠離。言所緣大性者，謂緣真如故也。二、精進大性，於多劫中恒策礪故；三、方便大性，謂般若大悲不偏住故。

Third, explaining great nature and aloofness. The 'great nature of the focal object' refers to focusing on tathatā. Second, the 'great nature of vigor' refers to constantly urging and exerting oneself throughout many eons. Third, the 'great nature of skillful means' refers to prajñā and great compassion not dwelling in one-sided extremes.
