定下劣性者，泰云：第二定體，為不巧便慧麁重所隨，故性下劣障第三定。
As for 'the inferior nature of concentration', Tai says: The entity of the second concentration is accompanied by the gross heaviness of unskillful wisdom; therefore, its nature is inferior, obstructing the third concentration.
