就初解自相門中，先總舉根本前後方便為業道相。言亦由五相建立差別等者，景云：即是下說五緣成殺等，名為五相。

In the first section, explaining the door of intrinsic characteristics: first, it generally presents the fundamental [act], the prior preparatory effort, and the subsequent [action] as the characteristics of courses of karma. Regarding the statement, 'and also by five marks establishing distinctions, etc.': Jing says that this refers to the five conditions accomplishing killing and so forth explained below, which are called the five marks.
