二、色自相有三：一、清淨色者，五根；二、所取色者，五塵；三、意所取色者，法處中色癈假論實，但言定境。

Second, regarding the intrinsic characteristic of material form, there are three types: first, pure material form, which is the five sense organs; second, material form as an object of apprehension, which is the five sense objects; third, material form apprehended by the mind, which is form within the realm of mental phenomena (dharmāyatana); setting aside the nominal to discuss the real, it is said to be only the realm of meditative absorption.
