Fourth, the explanation of dharmas with conflict (saraṇa) and without conflict (araṇa). In "the five appropriated aggregates are called the entities of dharmas with conflict": the meaning of impermanence and suffering upon the entity of the disputed matter is contrary to permanence and bliss, and is called the intrinsic nature of conflict. The five appropriated aggregates are the possessors of dharmas (dharmin) that possess the conflicting dharmas of impermanence, suffering, and so forth; hence they are called dharmas with conflict. Craving and defilement toward one's own body and indulgence in external objects induce suffering and impermanence, which are called the causal conditions of conflict. If impermanence, suffering, and so forth are the intrinsic nature of conflict, ignorance is constantly co-present with the causes and fruits of conflict, and is called the accessory determinant of conflict. Origination encompasses five kinds of dark factions, as in the text. Therein: first, it clarifies the five dark factions; second, it clarifies that the dark factions can produce five kinds of unstable fruits.
