Regarding the words "relying on this esoteric intention…" onward, they harmonise and explain the commentary's exposition on contemplating the characteristics of the three sensations. From "If one can truly contemplate their impermanent nature in this way…" onward, it means that by contemplating the impermanence of all conditioned things, one gradually severs the inversions. The words "such conditioned things are the actual entities of the noble truth of suffering in the ultimate sense" conclude that the suffering of conditioned existence is the actual entity of the noble truth of suffering in the ultimate sense. From "all the noble and worthy ones…" onward, it cites the superior to illustrate the inferior, [showing that] they do not give rise to joy or delight within the truth of suffering.
