聲聞乘修中，景云：言由安立諦作意門，內觀真如者，總觀四諦作人無我為方便門，入證真如，此緣勝義諦。緣有量有分別法為境者，此緣俗諦，知境有邊名有量，未離法執名有分別。

Regarding the cultivation of the Śrāvakayāna, Jing says: 'Where it says "Through the approach of mental application on the conventional truths, one internally contemplates tathatā": comprehensively contemplating the four truths to practice personal selflessness serves as an expedient approach to enter and realize tathatā; this takes the ultimate truth as its object. "Taking as object dharmas that are measurable and conceptual": this takes conventional truth as its object. Knowing that the object has boundaries is called "measurable"; not yet being free from dharma-attachment is called "conceptual".'
