第七、解四諦，先總標舉，指前已說。謂入真如觀斷煩惱時先緣四諦為淨或方便故說所緣，如聲聞地說。

Seventh, explaining the four truths. First, a general introduction pointing to what was previously stated. When entering the contemplation of suchness to sever afflictions, one first takes the four truths as an object as an expedient means for purification, hence the object is explained, as stated in the Stage of Śrāvakas (Śrāvakabhūmi).
