In the eighth [section], explaining reliance: Jing says: Among the seven bases, the first three are persons capable of instructing, and the latter four are conditions for cultivation. Among the six bases: first, 'Dharma' is the sūtras of precepts spoken by the Buddha, the Great Teacher, relying upon which one trains and cultivates; second, 'training' is the three types of wisdom to be cultivated; third, 'instruction and admonition' means that the preceptor and master of deportment among the previous seven instruct in the good, causing cultivation, and admonish against evil, causing abandonment; fourth, 'equal timing' refers to the nine successive meditative absorptions; fifth, 'offerings' refers to offerings of material goods and of the Dharma. Offering of material goods means by way of a single delightful dharma; offering of the Dharma means by way of what remains. Check the Śrāvakabhūmi.
