玄云：依止大師者謂如來，親教師者和上，軌範者戒師也，別解脫經者謂戒也，及廣分別者律本也。
Xuan says: 'Relying on the Great Teacher' refers to the Tathāgata. 'The preceptor' is the upādhyāya. 'The master of deportment' is the precept master. 'The Prātimokṣa Sūtra' refers to the precepts, and 'the extensive analysis' is the root Vinaya text.
