18.523

上來辨屬眾物，次辨屬別人物，他人不與暫與亦不究竟，捨亦不損棄，又己身於他非處委信而輒取用，或雖他與而過量而受用之。言受得淨者：謂飲食等。損壞淨者，生果等。委寄淨者，請施主等。時法淨者，七日藥等。捨分別淨者，於水中不作有蟲想而飲等也。

The above distinguished property belonging to the community; next is distinguished property belonging to particular individuals: when another person does not give it, gives it only temporarily and not permanently, or renounces it without actually abandoning or discarding it; or one improperly places trust in another and takes and uses it arbitrarily; or although the other gives it, one uses it in excessive measure. Regarding 'purified by acceptance': it refers to food and drink, etc. 'Purified by damage': fresh fruit, etc. 'Purified by entrustment': requesting the donor, etc. 'Purified by temporal rule': the seven-day medicine, etc. 'Purified by abandoning discrimination': drinking water without forming the notion that it contains insects, and so forth.
