18.561

言知他意樂界及隨眠者隨轉理門，種在六識，意樂是欲，隨眠是種子，由知他六識人心，故心上所有隨逐隨眠亦名知也。亦可初地已上他心智，知賴耶心及種子。

Regarding 'knowing others' inclinations, realms, and latent tendencies': according to the provisional teaching, the seeds reside in the six consciousnesses; inclination is desire, and latent tendencies are the seeds. Because one knows the minds of others' six consciousnesses, knowing the latent tendencies that accompany their minds is also called knowing them. Alternatively, for the cognition of others' minds from the first stage upward, it knows the ālayavijñāna mind and its seeds.
