他心智，唯是世間等者，問學人他心智既是有漏，云何能知無漏心耶？解云：同是學人之類，以有漏他心智知他無漏心，亦有何過，如他心智在色界能知色界心，不同小論有漏他心智唯知他人有漏心不知無漏，不知無色界心等。

Regarding 'the cognition of others' minds is exclusively worldly, etc.': Question: 'Since the cognition of others' minds possessed by a trainee is tainted, how can it know a taintless mind?' Explanation: 'Belonging to the same category of trainees, what fault is there in knowing another's taintless mind through a tainted cognition of others' minds? Just as the cognition of others' minds in the form realm can know minds in the form realm, this is unlike the Hīnayāna treatises, where a tainted cognition of others' minds knows only others' tainted minds and cannot know the taintless, nor know minds of the formless realm, and so on.'
