Regarding 'this and the remainder are collectively termed conventional cognition': it means that the tainted wisdom of the three natures within the bodies of these aśaikṣas and other ordinary beings and trainees (śaikṣas) is collectively called conventional cognition. One should know that regarding the remaining dharma-[cognition], subsequent [cognition], and so on, they take the cognitions of the four truths, the cognition of exhaustion, and the cognition of non-arising. 'Arises exclusively in the exhaustion of taints [...] exclusively supramundane': because it is cognition conforming to reality (yathābhūtajñāna), it is exclusively taintless. 'If one makes such distinctions [...] subsumed under conventional cognition': this refers to subsequent cognition; because it involves conceptual discrimination, it is called worldly, but because it has never been attained before and arises within the body of an arhat, it is also called supramundane.
