18.604

泰云：若於色界當得曾思當起修慧善取相者，類智諦觀總了知已後別知，若不爾者但了總觀不能了知也。

Tai says: If, regarding the form realm, what should be attained has been reflected upon, and the wisdom arisen from cultivation that should arise has properly grasped the marks, then after the subsequent knowledge's contemplation of the truths comprehensively knows, it later knows distinctly. If not so, it only comprehends in general contemplation and cannot know distinctly.
