18.95

泰云：言相者，謂由所依故，及行住故者，如眼識以由所依眼根為相，及識相分諸義行相為相，及住自了別即為相也。

Tai says: Regarding 'by mark, meaning due to the support, and due to acting and dwelling': for example, visual consciousness takes its support, the eye faculty, as its mark; it takes the cognitive aspect of all meanings in the objective aspect of consciousness as its mark; and it takes dwelling in its own apprehension as its mark.
