19.12

第五明尸羅壞具，初明由四緣令尸羅壞。一、於無餘罪，起毀犯者，犯初聚也；二、於有餘罪，不悔者，後四聚也。後二，可知。

The fifth section explains the corruption and completeness of morality (śīla). First, it explains that four conditions cause morality to be corrupted: first, committing an offence against that which leaves no remainder of guilt, which means transgressing the first class [of offences]; second, failing to repent for an offence that leaves a remainder of guilt, which refers to the latter four classes [of offences]. The latter two are understandable.
