泰云：緣者緣藉也。因相名相屬著故又相屬，當知，橫計有遍計所執性起分別，是能執心中但辨境有因起，故不說心。

Tai says: 'Cognitive condition' means to rely upon. Because names and marks adhere to each other, they are mutually subsumed; one should know that discrimination arises from arbitrarily imagining the existence of the parikalpita nature. This is within the mind that grasps, merely discerning that the object has a cause for arising; therefore the mind is not spoken of.
