19.57

三十三明佛法名為善說，有八雙句，以後釋前。言窣堵波者，翻名高勝，亦翻供養處也。由二因緣故，遺形立窣堵波。一、由所證堅住故，二、有可依處故也。

Thirty-third, explaining that the Buddha's Dharma is called 'well-spoken'; it has eight pairs of sentences, where the latter explains the former. 'Stūpa' is translated as 'high and exalted', and also translated as 'a place of offering'. A stūpa is erected for relics due to two conditions: 1. because that which is realized abides firmly; 2. because there is a place to rely upon.
