Regarding the statement that one is constantly swept away and drowned by the remaining four kinds of stinginess and further gives rise to stinginess regarding the Dharma: above in the text it was stated that at the end of the kalpa, stinginess regarding dwell-places, stinginess regarding households, stinginess regarding gain, stinginess regarding veneration, stinginess regarding praise, and stinginess regarding the Dharma are all fully present. According to the Tattvasiddhi-śāstra (*Chengshilun*), there are five kinds of stinginess: stinginess regarding dwelling-places, stinginess regarding households, stinginess regarding almsgiving, stinginess regarding preaching and praise, and stinginess regarding the Dharma. Now, when it says that the remaining four together with [stinginess regarding] the Dharma make five kinds of stinginess, the two forms of stinginess regarding veneration and praise are combined into one type, which corresponds to stinginess regarding preaching and praise in the Tattvasiddhi.
