破中分三：初破數執，次示正義，後例破聲論。初中分二：初列難，後結成。列難中分三：一、有障無障，二、有性果性，三、為異不異。

Within the refutation there are three parts: first, refuting the Sāṃkhya clinging; next, demonstrating the correct meaning; finally, refuting the sound theorists by analogy. The first part has two: first, setting forth the objections; later, concluding. Within setting forth the objections there are three: 1. having obstruction or lacking obstruction; 2. existence-nature or effect-nature; 3. being different or not different.
