基師解云：初、徵難法救類異，第四、徵難世友業用，第六、徵難覺天相待，第七、徵難妙音相異，餘三設遮非本部計。

Master Ji explained: The first interrogates and challenges Dharmatrāta's difference of modality (bhāva); the fourth interrogates and challenges Vasumitra's functional state (avasthā); the sixth interrogates and challenges Buddhadeva's mutual relativity (apekṣā); the seventh interrogates and challenges Ghoṣaka's difference of characteristics (lakṣaṇa); the other three hypothetically ward off doctrines not held by their school.
