若由餘體起此覺者，即由於心等亦起形量覺，非唯緣色，亦緣色得有我勝劣等覺，非唯緣受等起於彼覺，境心二種便成雜亂，一色等境亦是受想行等覺因，量云：汝宗色等應是受等，起勝等覺故，如受等。

If this awareness arises from another nature, then from mind, etc., an awareness of shape and measure would also arise, and not only when taking form as an object; also, when taking form as an object, there would be an awareness of the self as superior or inferior, etc., and not only when taking feeling, etc., as an object would that awareness arise. The two kinds—object and mind—would then become conflated, and a single object such as form would also be the cause for the awareness of feeling, conception, volition, etc. The syllogism is: Form, etc., in your system should be feeling, etc.; because it gives rise to the awareness of being superior, etc.; like feeling, etc.
