若念自我，計我先無，後然生，不應理者，執我常，若念自我我出過去，則先來是有，計我先無後欻然生，不應道理。

Under "If one recollects one's self and hypothesizes that the self previously did not exist and later arose, it is unreasonable": grasping the self as permanent, if one recollects one's self and that the self emerged from the past, then it has existed from before; hypothesizing that the self previously did not exist and later suddenly arose is unreasonable.
