The inversion of mind takes the remaining afflictions such as greed, excluding the aforementioned views, as its nature; because they defile and afflict the mind, they are called inversion of mind. When it says 'inversion of mind' here, it refers to afflictions such as greed regarding those very things that are grasped. Some say: the essence of the inversion of mind is solely greed, because defiling the mind is predominant.
