謂由三種意樂撥施故等者，一、由著財意樂言無施；二、由見取取彼斷見邪見，邪見為淨意樂故起邪見慢無愛養布施；三、執祠火天以為究竟意樂，謗無自餘祠祀布施，無妙惡行中能治者謂福業事，慳悋犯戒散亂等三名所對除。

Regarding 'saying there is no giving due to three kinds of intention' and so forth: first, due to the intention of attachment to wealth, one says there is no giving; second, due to attachment to views, taking nihilistic views and wrong views as pure intention, one gives rise to the pride of wrong views and denies nurturing and giving; third, grasping the sacrificial fire-deva as ultimate intention, one denies that other sacrifices and offerings exist. Among 'no good and evil deeds', the antidotes refer to meritorious actions; the three, stinginess, transgression of precepts, and distraction, are called what is counteracted.
