In the second summarized meaning, conditions for transmigration refer to 'there is no this world or that world, no mother, and no father.' The agent of transmigration refers to 'there are no apparitionally born sentient beings.' Here Ji explains: intermediate existence and birth existence together are called the agent. 'There are no arhats' and so forth is called denying the antidote and cessation. Furthermore, regarding 'denying transmigration, one should know it denies the cause and does not deny its self-characteristic': this explains transmigration in the second summary, meaning one does not deny the reality of worldly parents themselves, but only denies the causal meaning of going from here to there and the causal meaning of parents being able to sustain; denying cessation also denies the virtues of cessation and the path, not the persons who practice this. Culmination here means definitive denial.
