第二解作業門。景云：初性有五業。一、能生依他由執二塵相見二分依他得起，此業是總後四別明，總望生彼依他以明五業；二、起言說；三、生人執；四、生法執；五、能攝受彼二種執習氣麁重者，由執二塵熏成二執習氣麁重，餘二性各有五業。如文可知。

The second [section] explains the gateway of activity. Jing says: The first nature has five activities: 1. It can generate the paratantra: by grasping the two data, the objective and subjective divisions of the paratantra are able to arise. This activity is general, and the latter four are explained specifically; looking generally at the generation of that paratantra, the five activities are explained. 2. Giving rise to verbal expression; 3. Generating the grasping of a person; 4. Generating the grasping of dharmas; 5. Being able to take in the crude heaviness of the habitual tendencies of those two kinds of grasping: through grasping the two data, the crude heaviness of the habitual tendencies of the two graspings is perfumed. The other two natures each have five activities, as can be known from the text.
