言如於其名至亦爾者,此即就前五相知法謂知名知句知文等及十相知義,故今類況如於其名於句於文於一切義當知亦爾。言乃至於界至如是除遣者,於上文中初以五相知法,十種知義。復知五義,復知四義,復知三義,三義者,一是文義二是義義三是界義,界義即是器世界等五界故,地前菩薩作此五種界觀亦唯是識識為所依,故云乃至於界及界自性無所得時,亦不觀彼所依之相;如是除遣。

The words 'Just as with respect to its name, down to: is also like this' refer back to the previous knowing of Dharma through five characteristics—meaning knowing names, knowing phrases, knowing syllables, and so forth—and knowing meaning through ten characteristics; hence it now analogies: 'Just as with respect to its name, so too with respect to phrases, syllables, and all meanings, one should know it is also like this.' The words 'down to: with respect to the realms, down to: in this way they are eliminated': in the text above, first one knew Dharma through five characteristics and knew meaning through ten kinds. Furthermore, one knew five meanings, four meanings, and three meanings. The three meanings are: first, the meaning of the text; second, the meaning of the expressed; third, the meaning of the realms. The meaning of the realms refers to the five realms such as the container world. Therefore, when a bodhisattva before the grounds engages in this contemplation of the five realms, they are also solely consciousness, with consciousness as the basis. Hence it says: 'down to: when nothing is apprehended regarding the realms and the intrinsic nature of the realms, one also does not observe the characteristic of that upon which they depend; in this way they are eliminated.'
