第二相從為七義者，於前十四門中，前之九門攝之為二。所謂體、釋：體中有三，體及文義，文義二種重出前體，總則別為三故為一。

Second, concerning the classification according to related categories into seven meanings: among the preceding fourteen headings, the first nine headings are subsumed into two, namely 'substance' (essence) and 'explanation.' Within 'substance' there are three: the substance, the text, and the meaning. The two—text and meaning—re-elaborate the preceding substance; since the general subsumes these distinct three, they constitute one.
