三、證成道理，謂若因緣能合所立所說所標義得成立令正覺悟者，謂由三支令所詮義得成立，令敵論者生正覺悟。又解：舉其因喻，令所立宗義得成立，此則略辨，次當廣釋。

3. Reasoning of demonstration: in 'causes and conditions that can establish the thesis, proposition, and signified meaning so as to bring about correct awakening,' by means of the three members [of a syllogism], the signified meaning is established, causing the opponent to give rise to correct awakening. Another explanation: adducing the reason and example establishes the meaning of the proposed thesis. This is a brief discrimination; next it will be explained in detail.
