22.15

前云，諸說法師至若文若義者，先當推尋文中六義中十令善通達，則是達前法體。次復乃至宣說正法者，牒釋中，法、起、義、難；次五種解釋道理，故名為他轉五種釋，此牒前體及釋總為一也。

Regarding the previous "masters of the Dharma... up to both text and meaning": first, one should investigate and thoroughly penetrate the six in the text and the ten in meaning; this is penetrating the previous essence of the Dharma. Next, as for "and up to expounding the true Dharma": this reiterates the Dharma, arising, meaning, and objections in the explanation; next are the five kinds of explanatory principles, hence called the five kinds of explanations delivered for others; this combines the previous essence and explanation into one.
