22.36

第五約勝利辨，言勝利義中，謂修三學速得圓滿是勝利義者，此於十義第六，今在第五，總解釋之，諸謂比丘於三學速得圓滿是勝利。彼云勝利者，以要言之，於應稱讚義而起稱讚，或法或人。

Fifth, distinguishing with respect to benefit: regarding 'In the meaning of benefit, cultivating the three trainings and quickly attaining fulfillment is the meaning of benefit'—this was the sixth among the ten meanings, but is now fifth; explaining it generally, monks quickly attaining fulfillment in the three trainings is the benefit. That text says: 'Regarding benefit, in brief, it is giving rise to praise toward that which ought to be praised, whether a teaching or a person.'
