23.14

隨逐賴耶為因，以四識住為緣，又由喜貪潤業令芽相續名緣。達師等云：即五蘊名五品行也。

Accompanying the ālaya acts as the cause, and taking the four stations of consciousness acts as the condition; furthermore, moistening karma through joy and attachment to make the sprout continuous is called the condition. Master Da and others say: "The five aggregates are precisely called the five categories of formations."
