達師又云：後於其下續生識處者，在七識住下底者，所謂三惡道。又復於彼生起識者，第四禪及悲想天，此二處非識所樂住之處。彼於識住者，七識住處也。及於二處者，一云，三惡道，二、第四定及非想天。有繫有情而離繫縛者，方便道資糧道位中，諸聖弟子已伏我見，故云離繫；然未離隨眠繫，故云有繫；其中有繫無繫不可了知，故言難了知也。

Master Da also says: "Later, below it, the stations where consciousness continues to arise" refers to those at the bottom beneath the seven stations of consciousness, namely the three evil destinies. "Further, in those places where consciousness arises" refers to the fourth dhyāna and the heaven of neither-perception-nor-non-perception; these two places are not where consciousness delights to dwell. "Those stations of consciousness" refers to the seven stations of consciousness. "And in the two stations": one explanation says, first, the three evil destinies, and second, the fourth dhyāna and the heaven of neither-perception-nor-non-perception. Regarding "sentient beings possessing fetters who are free from fetters": in the stages of the path of expedients and the path of accumulation, noble disciples have already subdued the view of self, hence they are said to be "free from fetters"; yet because they have not abandoned the fetters of latent tendencies, they are said to "possess fetters"; because possessing fetters and being free from fetters cannot easily be known therein, it is said to be "difficult to know."
